Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a motivated, hands-on Maintenance Technician to support the reliability and performance of our production equipment and facility. This is a great opportunity for a beginning- to mid-career technician to grow their skills while working alongside an experienced, veteran maintenance professional.
The ideal candidate has a solid mechanical foundation, basic electrical troubleshooting experience, and an interest in developing PLC and industrial controls skills. We value mechanical aptitude, problem-solving ability, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
- Diagnose basic electrical issues involving motors, sensors, switches, relays, and controls.
- Develop PLC and automation troubleshooting skills through hands-on training.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime.
- Complete preventative maintenance and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and improvement projects.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Qualifications:
- 1–5 years of maintenance, manufacturing, electrical, mechanical, or related experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Basic electrical knowledge; PLC/controls experience is a plus.
- Ability to read basic electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Comfortable using hand and power tools.
- Dependable, safety-minded, and eager to learn.
